Sharing the Light for 60 Years


Our alumni connection remains strong and reuniting with old friends is more important than ever. We cordially invite you to our 60th reunion, on September 29, 2024, 2-4 pm, here at Westmont. Westmont alumni, 12 years of age or more, are eligible to participate in our Volunteer Junior Camp Counselor Program. Alumni interested in the 2025 Summer Junior Camp Counselor position will be asked to apply by April 11, 2025. Please be on the lookout for an email with the application and/or check back in early March for a link. A lottery system is in place for selection as it is a sought-after position for our young alumni. Westmont’s Alumni are a vital part of our community and an enduring legacy. We are honored to maintain strong relationships with our alumni, be it graduates from one, 10, 20 or 30 years ago! Graduates stay in touch by participating in our Volunteer Junior Camp Counselor Program, serving as Ambassadors at school functions, visiting during their school breaks, and are eligible for a Legacy Scholarship for secondary studies. For consideration to join any of these programs, please send an email to alumni@westmontmontessori.org.

Alumni who babysit can be included on our Westmont Babysitting Referral list to be shared with current parents of the school. Please email your interest to alumni@westmontmontessori.org or call our office, 908-879-6355.

The Westmont Montessori School feels a sincere and deep connection to all the capable young people and their families who began their life's journey here. Each year, a Legacy Scholarship is awarded to two senior high school students continuing their educational journey. Please click here to apply. Alumni Spotlight – Open House Ambassadors

We were fortunate to have 7 of our alumni join us on Saturday, February 29 at our Open House/Family Social. We welcomed back James and Giselle Scannella, Bella and Joe Dicristina, Mackenzie Kreitzer, Cydney Fink and Kathleen Whitmore. They acted as Ambassadors for Westmont, greeting new families and escorting them to the classrooms. They also helped our smallest visitors with a craft.

It is always wonderful when our former students return to ‘give back’ to their first school.
