‘Learning How to Think – Exploring How to Do’

From our vast curriculum to the classrooms,
to the strength of each teacher, Westmont
encourages children to think for themselves, to discover,
question, build resilience, create, lead and collaborate, Westmont’s
thriving, nurturing environment leads to lifelong success
in academic, emotional, and social skills.

Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome to The Westmont Montessori School. For over 55 years we have been serving the greater Mendham Chester area as a premier early childhood educational experience. It is my honor and privilege to lead this wonderful community of learners. We are privileged to provide our students with a true Montessori environment which encourages children to discover, think for themselves, lead, collaborate and grow into capable young people.

Our school boasts dual accreditation granted by The American Montessori Society and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. These accreditations support Westmont’s quest for excellence by ensuring their high educational standards are continuously upheld.

Westmonts classrooms are led by dedicated Montessori certified teachers, who have over 100 years of collective experience. They live out their passion as they focus on cultivating the curiosity of each student within the proven construct of the Montessori method.

We invite you to experience all that Westmont has to offer your family. As you peruse these pages, you are welcome to contact me directly at: mwhitmore@westmontmontessori.org.
