April 2017 ALUMNI HIGHLIGHT-Mendham Twp. Middle School Cast of High School Musical, Jr.
As I watched the preparations for the recent Mendham Township Middle School’s production of High School Musical I was struck by the fact that many of the actors and production crew attended Westmont, and how that foundation impacted their contributions to the play.
My daughter Sofia who played the part of Gabriella got her start performing in the Westmont Kindergarten Play. Public speaking opportunities, the development of self-confidence and self- motivation helped Sofia and her fellow Westmont Alum present and perform a stellar and memorable show.
Other alumni included Sean Saunders, Isabella Scala, Ryan Shin, Madison Orlins, Carly Orlins, Cassandra Grob, Ava Lozner, Alaina Thompson with Joseph McDonald, Molly Jendryka, and Andrew Cox on the crew.
