On October 16, we welcomed an enthusiastic group of high school alum back for our “Extracurricular List for College” workshop. This was facilitated by Monica Whitmore (former college admissions counselor, current Vice Principal of a local elementary school, Westmont Board Member and current parent), and organized by Jes Golumbeski (alum parent, Westmont Board Member and chair of Westmont’s Alumni Relations Committee). The workshop offered valuable insight and recommendations on how to build one’s college application extracurricular list so that it stands out. Each student began working on their list right there, on their laptops, with input and advice from Mrs. Whitmore. They are off to another great phase in their educational journey with Westmont rooting for them all the way!
