Nicholas Agostin was recently awarded the Morris County Superintendent’s Leadership Award. The award is given annually to one graduating student from each middle school in Morris County who “represents a model of citizenship and leadership in their respective school community.”
Nicholas was first chosen by his teacher; he was one of four finalists for Randolph Middle School. The essay he wrote is what impressed the judges.
Nicholas has been very busy since leaving Westmont. He is an assistant Tae Kwon Do instructor with Elite TOMA Martial arts, a Senior Patrol Leader for BSA Troop 109, a life scout for BSA Troop 109, and a BSA Order of the Arrow member. He played trumpet for the Randolph Middle School Band and Jazz Band. Nicholas is also the founder of the Randolph Middle School Engineering Club and the Gloves for Love Initiative.
Nicholas’ favorite Westmont memory is drawing in Extended Day. He is still in contact with his Westmont buddy Ethan Wigder.
