January 2017 Alumni Highlight- Courtney Kreitzer
Courtney Kreitzer is an 8th grader who attends Randolph Middle School. She remembers her Westmont experience fondly! In the EC classroom, she enjoyed getting to choose her work each day by reviewing a special checklist and eating a healthy snack at a small table with a classmate. In Kindergarten, she remembers making Stone Soup (her ingredient was a potato!) and learning geography. And, she still gets a lot of use out of the beautifully decorated bookcase that her parent’s made sure they came home with after attending the Celebration of Children!
Today, Courtney rounds out her academic pursuits by participating in volleyball and the school S.T.E.M. Club, reading everything she can get her hands on, and watching Survivor! She loves visiting Westmont and helping out whenever there is an opportunity. This past summer, she had the most rewarding time volunteering as a Junior Counselor for a second time. And during the fall, she attended a special development workshop offered to Alumni students and helped out as a babysitter during the “Parents Night Out” event.
It’s been so wonderful watching Courtney grow into the loving, mindful and compassionate person she is today. She knows her time spent at Westmont was special and unique!
