It is with great warmth that I extend an invitation to you to join our nurturing Montessori school family. Westmont, an AMS and MSA-CESS accredited school, welcomes children between the ages of 18 months – 6 years.

Finding a quality preschool for your child is important and here at Westmont we are committed to the individual educational development of each child and to a strong partnership between school and home.

The Little Steps Montessori’s cozy environment was created especially for the heart and mind of a young child, thereby, granting a child the opportunity to learn through play and exploration. Children 18 – 30 months may participate. Click here to apply.

Immersed in a small group setting, our Toddler class provides a safe, nurturing atmosphere, allowing for children to foster independence and the love of learning at their own pace. In this sensorial environment, children develop their fine and gross motor, language, spatial, math, and social skills while exploring hands-on activities. In the Early Childhood classroom, multi-age children combine to form a community of learners. This multiyear Montessori cycle offers a unique experience for each child and provides ample opportunities to advance socially, emotionally, and academically. The curriculum encompasses the individualized learning of mathematics, language arts, practical life skills, science, and cultural studies. Children 3 and older by October 1 may participate. A leadership year for every child, Kindergarten culminates from the foundation laid through the previous years at Westmont. The child solidifies essential knowledge, thinking skills, and strength of character - all necessary to flourish as capable children today and successful adults tomorrow. The aftercare program provides the opportunity to extend a child’s day right here at Westmont and to partner with our families to fulfill a childcare need. Peace of mind comes from knowing a child will continue to be in a familiar place where they are safe, active, learning, nurtured, and engaged after the school day ends. Camp Westmont offers young campers ages 15 mos. – 6 yrs. the opportunity to continue growing under the guidance of our experienced and certified Montessori staff.
